Our company policy for de-provisioning accounts is: identify the users who are inactive in AD for 30 days and disable them; move those users to an OU called "Disabled Users"; delete those accounts after 30 days. It is a simple but yet a mundane process. Our IT department would like to automate this task.

Any changes to users' mobile number, residential address, department details, etc. needed to be updated in Active Directory by my team. It is tedious to update every single detail for each user and we simply don't have the personnel to maintain up to date information for all users in Active Directory. It would be great if there is an option for users to securely update their profile information in Active Directory.

A single user kept getting his account locked out every 60 seconds. We might be able to isolate this down to coming from one of our SQL Servers, but there isn't any legitimate excuse which points in the right direction as to what is causing it. As a matter of fact, the concerned user does not have permission to login to the server either interactively or through terminal services. We need to track user lockouts and logon actions in real time.

Our organization has decided to create Mailboxes for temporary employees in Office 365 while simultaneously creating an account for them in Active Directory. Due to some issues in our existing 'File Server', our IT department decided to deploy another new high-end File Server. Our IT department SLA is to unlock the locked out users within 10 minutes. It is difficult to unlock accounts within 10 minutes every time. In cases where our technicians are out of office or in lunch break, abiding by the 10 minutes mark is very difficult.
